Sunday services:
Morning Worship with SClub (kids' activities for 3 to 14-year-olds) and crèche: 10.30am
Cornerstone is a new church formed by LCBC, meeting at John Hampden School, Thame, on Sunday mornings from 10.00am, led by Pastor-in-training Paddy Harris.
Evening Worship at LCBC: 6.30pm.
All-age services usually on first Sunday morning of month.
Youth-friendly 'Pulse' services usually on the third Sunday evening of month.
Regular term-time activities for youth and children:
Toybox - free baby and toddler group, Mondays 10.00 - 11.30am, Thursdays 1.30 - 3.00pm.
Adventurers - activity group for children in years 3-5, Wednesdays 6.15 - 7.30pm.
Gap - discussion group for years 7 - 9, Wednesdays 6.15 - 7.30pm.
Jucos - youth club for years 6 - 9, Fridays 6.30 - 8.00pm.
Rare:r - Bible study and social group for years 10+, Sunday evenings after church and Tuesdays 7.00pm onwards.
Regular activities:
Home Groups and Prayer Meeting on alternate Thursday evenings.
Connect - a women’s group that meets weekly, alternating with guest speakers for coffee mornings, Bible study and prayer, crèche provided. Tuesdays 10.00 - 11.30am.
Contact - a fortnightly meeting for the 55+ with monthly meal.
Spectrum - monthly art group, meets Wednesdays 10.30am - 3.00pm.
Table Tennis Club - weekly, adults, Mondays 8.00pm.
Men’s and Women’s Breakfasts - a regular programme with visiting speakers. Saturday mornings.
20s and 30s group - meet informally for social evenings.
Meadowcroft - LCBC is responsible once a month for taking the service at Meadowcroft residential care home in Thame on a Sunday afternoon.
Special events:
Annual Holiday Club for primary aged children during the Easter holidays.
Holiday at Home - for those aged 55+, last week in May.
Christianity Explored - discussion course for those wanting to investigate the claims of Christianity.

Long Crendon Bell ringers are a group of about 12 individuals who ring the church bells at St Mary's Parish Church for services, weddings, practice night, and any special occasions which may occur. We ring for service on Sundays from 10.00am to 10.30am, and practice on Thursday evenings from 7.30pm until 9.00pm.

John the Vicar arrived in Long Crendon in May 2009. He is also Vicar of Chearsley and Nether Winchendon in a United Benefice.

We warmly welcome you to any of our services which take place every Sunday at 8.00am and 10.30am. The first service is always 1662 said Holy Communion. The second service alternates between a Sung Eucharist (2nd and 4th Sundays)and a more informal Service of the Word. (Ist and 3rd Sundays) especially suitable for families and children. On the 5th Sunday there is a United Service which may be in any of the 3 benefice Churches at 10.00am.
Other special services take place (such as Taize and Contemplative/Healing Services) and are advertised separately.

Social Events
In the course of the year we organize a series of social events, often run by 'The Friends of St. Marys. These include musical concerts; a Safari Supper; Pancake Supper; Quizes; Autumn Bazaar; Harvest Supper; Barn Dance. All are invited and warmly welcome. Dates are advertised locally.
Mystery Plays
The Long Crendon Mystery Plays take place in St. Marys Church. 2012 will be the 40th successive and successful year they have been performed. Preceded (optional) by a medieval banquet) they are a wonderful and moving experience. They take place in May each year. We love to have new actors!
